Refund Policy

Overview

We want you to be satisfied with your Foliovo review. All payments are processed by Lemon Squeezy (Lemon Squeezy B.V.), which acts as the Merchant of Record. This policy outlines when and how you can request a refund.

14-Day Refund Window

You may request a full refund within 14 days of purchase, provided that:

  • Your review has not yet been generated (i.e. you purchased but have not submitted a portfolio for review).
  • For Application Bundles, no reviews have been used from the bundle.

After Your Review Is Generated

Once your AI review has been generated and delivered, we are generally unable to offer a refund as the service has been fully performed. However, we will consider refunds on a case-by-case basis if:

  • A technical error prevented the review from being generated correctly.
  • The review was substantially incomplete or failed to process your portfolio.

In these cases, we may offer a re-review at no additional cost or a partial/full refund at our discretion.

Application Bundle

For Application Bundle purchases (£39):

  • Full refund if no reviews from the bundle have been used.
  • If some reviews have been used, we may offer a partial refund proportional to unused reviews, at our discretion.

Personal Statement Builder

For Personal Statement Builder purchases (£9.99):

  • Full refund within 14 days if you have not started a personal statement.
  • After starting a statement, refunds are at our discretion and considered on a case-by-case basis.

Free Scan

The Free Scan is provided at no cost and is non-refundable (as no payment is taken).

How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, email us at hello@contact.folovio.com with your order details and the reason for your request. We aim to respond within 2 working days.

Approved refunds are processed by Lemon Squeezy and typically appear on your statement within 5–10 working days, depending on your payment provider.

Consumer Rights

This policy does not affect your statutory rights under UK consumer law. If you are based in the UK or EU, you have a right to cancel within 14 days of purchase under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, unless the digital content has been fully performed with your prior consent.
